Lama sudah x menulis didalam blog nih, jemu pulak rasanya bila masuk page blog nih Nampak content yang sama. Hari nih aku merasakan hari yang sesuai untuk aku menulis entry terbaru bagi memenuhkan ruang celoteh di blog.

Mari aku ajak nkorang buat sikit kajian rambang mengenai dunia Bloging. Rata-rata pemilik blog di Malaysia adalah newbie. Atau dalam erti kata lain, masih hijau dalam dunia blogging. Kebanyakan dari nkorang membuat blog hanya untuk menjana pendapatan online.. Ketaksuban mengejar pendapatan online membuatkan nkorang – nkorang semua mengila membuat kajian tentang cara-cara meraih wang yang banyak dengan hanya menabur sedikit usaha.Persoalannya, sejauh mana kita boleh buat duit dengan hanya duduk di depan netbook dengan hanya usaha dan modal yang sangat minimum, sudah boleh mendapat keuntungan jutaan ringgit sebulan.

Jom aku ajak nkorang belajar mengira sekejap. (Artikel ini ditulis khas untuk blog berbayar,aku akan tulis artikel lain untuk pemilik blog di blogspot atau wordpress.com ) Kalo nkorang adalah reader yang dah biasa dengar hosting dan domain, mesti nkorang sangatlah familiar bila baca perkataan nih. So ntuk pengetahuan nkorang, blog aku nih di hostkan di Hivehost.net, sebuah syarikat yang beribu pejabat di Sarawak. Harga sewa yang aku bayar tiap tahun bersamaan rm135. Td aku ada ajak nkorang mengira kan? OK modal untuk buat blog berbayar nih adalah  dalam sekitar RM60 ke RM 150. Nkorang kalo bnyak duit n malas nak setup blog nkorang, nkorang bleh upah aku pasangkan blog nkorang dengan bayaran upah rm10 sahaja. ( Tanpa grafik editing dan plugin2 canggih, hanya yg simple dan xmemeningkan kepala nkorang, Siap pasang nkorang bleh terus blogging. Murah kan? ) Ok Jumlah pembayaran yang sepatutnya nkorang bayar setiap tahun ialah RM 60 setahun ( + RM10 pemasangan blog nkorang, kalo suh aku yang pasangkan la, jadi total pembayaran buat kali pertama ialah RM 70. Murahkan, xler semahal dan secanggih project email 1 Malaysia tuh…. toooootttt).

Setelah nkorang2 semua dah kuar modal dalam bentuk duit tuh, nkorang dah kena tukar mind set nkorang , nkorang kena berusaha bersungguh – sungguh tuk dapatkan semula modal yang dah nkorang laburkan tuh. Setelah objektif tercapai, gandakan traffic kepada 1000 reader sebulan, bermakna dalam sehari nkorang perlu dapatkan reader setia dalam 35 ke 40 orang reader setia.

I kinda wish that this blog can stand on its own, meaning that I won’t have to work so hard just to keep it up.

Lets face it – Many.. Oh wait! Not many.. Almost all webmasters/bloggers believe that Adsense is the best. But do they know why? There is no reason to this, they just like it because of high PPC rates. But what are the benefits? Let me tell you, except the high PPC rates there are NO benefits! Now lets see the good side of Adbrite and the negative side of Adsense:

1) Adbrite allows you to select your keywords. Yes! We take the same example, a free image sharing website: Now what do you think? Why are people using your service? One simple reason: Its FREE! So basically your traffic category falls into the freebie category and about 75% your visitors would be likely interested in “Making Money Online”, which is a high PPC keyword. Just select the keywords with the highest paying keywords and your done! Adbrite will show the ads of your selected keywords, unlikely Adsense showing Ads according to your location. (Since I’m from India, I only see LK Advani or Shaadi.com ads on Adsense Ads. How bad is that?!)

2) Adbrite has Inline and Full Page ads. These two are the major postive points about Adbrite. If your running a high traffic website or a one which allows the user to download, upload and share files the full page and inline text ads are the BEST! Instead of using only captcha you could use these ads + captcha and make money by allowing the user to download the file(s) This ad is best recommended for Image/File hosting websites.

3) Payout is at $5!!! WOW! Adbrite pays out is at only $5 which is pretty cool. But they use the Net-60 payment meathod which requires the publisher to wait for 60 days from the date of generation of the click value. I’m all cool about this, I can select my payout from $5 – $xxxx. Which ever I am comforable with. In Adsense you need to reach $100 which is easily achiveable BUT If you achive it in the wrong way or if your CTR is above 10.. You are BANNED! This is not with Adbrite

4) PPC Value: We all know that Adsense offers a very good PPC value, however, same can be achieved with Adbrite. As I mentioned above,  select the (highest paying) keywords you think are good for you and see the same PPC value as Adsense. Trust me, I’ve tried it! I got upto $1.26 for a click. Thats seriously crazy!

5) Monetize your images. You can monetize your images with Adbrite. How cool is that?!?! Benefits of this? Many visitors try to click on the image or rip off your work but you will still make money off this I found this feature of Adbrite a killer one!! Even if a user tries to rip off your image or tries to right click and copy the location, you are being paid Tomorrow if someone has your copyright image on his/her blog, don’t worry.. You have been paid for it! Thats not it, If the user copy pastes your complete article the ad is going with it

I believe there are many more features in Adsense and Adbrite both but I have tried my level best to cover up the major positive/negative factors of both. But I strongly recommend Adbrite.

In my opinion a good method is word from mouth. Spread around your website to your friends and you might find a couple of people who constantly view your site and decides to send the website to their friends etc.

3# Give a gift to your commentor

Let’s face it, sometimes doing good for the sake of good just doesn’t cut it. Why should anyone comment on your blog when there are millions of others to choose from? Occasionally, it helps to provide incentives for your readers to comment. You can give away eBooks, themes, or other products to those who comment; this works wonders since your readers are always on the lookout for free stuff. I’m pretty sure you’ll have a warm fuzzy feeling inside of you after you do. So they feel appreciated on you. It can be surprising how such a small “thank you” at the end of your posts can take your comment section a long way. Your readers are taking their time to leave comments on your blog, so the least you could do is thank them for their effort. A little thank you note can turn a stop-and-go commenter into a very loyal reader. Think about it

4# Wrote a relevant articles to others

Spend two days a week spend an hour writing one thoughtful and cogent article that’s relevant to your target readership. Imagine you’re going to be having it picked up and published in one of the key trade publications in your marketplace. Good grammar, good spelling, coherent sentences, and a valuable point or insight are all important. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but I promise you, the better you write, the more your potential customers, clients, partners and investors will be impressed.

The other three days of the week? Spend the same amount of time and effort each of these other days, but this time find other blogs that are in your market space and add thoughtful comments to their discussions. Sometimes, when appropriate, link back to your own articles, but other times add your own comments just to participate in the ongoing discussion and, yes, gain some visibility in your marketspace.

5# Get a Linkback form others

Keep building good unique related content and related backlinks and traffic should increase in time.. Every blogger dreams about this. As the number of natural backlinks increase, your authority will also increase. But the point here is, are those natural backlinks really worth it? The answer is yes. It is a kind of virtuous circle. The higher the number of backlinks you have, the higher your authority, and the higher your authority, the more natural backlinks you will get.

In my blogging career, I’ve learned only two ways to get good backlinks: hard work and patience. By hard work I mean the content you write. Blogs like SixRevisions and Hongkiat are among the most popular design blogs. If you visit them, you will realize the reason: the publish a lot of high quality content on a very frequent basis.

Link exchange is also a great and effective way to boost your traffic. You can go to Google Blog Search and find few blogs which have same niche with you and request link exchange with the webmasters by contact them. If you able to exchange a link with a blog which have high visits and traffic, your traffic also will increase after that.

6# Comment to others article

I think I don’t need to tell you why you should be commenting on other blogs. For instance, I still remember the articles TechCrunch articles where I managed to leave the first comment. At that time, my blog used to get around 40 visitors a day. On that particular day (when I left the comment) my visitor count increased to around 110 visitors.
Frequently leave comments on some experts blogs which have high traffic and Alexa ranking will increase your blog traffic as well. Do not comment using anonymous. Remember to leave only quality comment instead of saying a word “Hello”. Leave some quality comments so that other people will get interest on you and then visit your blog. Please get hurry to be the 1st commentor for them!!

7# Twitter’ing’ them so they will too

Twitter has always been a very good friend of mine for getting Traffic. Mostly the traffic depends on the kind of content you write. Twitter traffic is crazy about social media. If you are writing something like “10 tips that can make you Twitter rich” then I am sure your followers would love to retweet it for you.

One thing I really like about Twitter is that your articles which never get attention on social bookmarking sites can also drive you a lot of traffic.

**TIP: Twitter will only pay you off if you are regular. Try starting from 10 minutes a day and keep ReTweeting stuff. Most of your followers will reciprocate you and will RT your links too.

8# Run a blog contest

Run contests on your blog also a way to boost your blog traffic. The form of contest and gift is based on your budget and what your readers need. Think a creative way which can grab more readers to read your blog post. Example, the top commenter of this month will be rewarded a copy of your e-book.

9# Submit your blog to blog directory

This step is very important to get traffic for your blog. Submit your blogs to Technorati, Techmeme, Blogcatalog and other blog directories. Blog directories are places which you can submit your blog to get massive traffic. Thus, do not be lazy on this. They will increase your alexa rank.

10# Increase your reader loyalty

Increased recognition leads to increased loyalty. Every blogger aims to be recognized by those within the niche or industry. Think about your own habits as a blog reader. Which blogs would you say that you are most loyal to? Are they also the same blogs that you visit directly? Most likely they are. With increased recognition and direct traffic you will receive more repeat visitors.

These are the main 10 ways you can use to get tons of traffic for your blog. No harm to give out a try. After that what you need is blog with consistency and repeating doing them. Quality traffic tip #1: Leave comments

I can think of no better way to get your name out in front of key players in your industry than by leaving smart, relevant comments on existing blogs. Each comment you leave serves a couple of purposes: it creates a link back to your site (always a good thing), it illustrates that you have something of value to add, and can be the first step in building a relationship with the site owner.

Example #1: By leaving comments on problogger.net, I started to form a relationship with the site’s author. We moved from exchanging comments, to email, to IM, to beer (a good progression in my books!). That relationship has done wonders for my business in the form of referrals and testimonials from a very trusted source. It never would have come to be if I didn’t leave comments.

I can almost guarantee that every time you leave a comment, someone will visit your site. Building your audience one at a time may sound like an awful lot of work. But those readers who come via comments are very likely to be interested in what you and your blog are about. So you odds of converting that reader to a client (or whatever your conversion goal is) are good.

Note though, that you’ve got to have something to add. Just leaving a comment with your site name and address, or otherwise spamming comments is just plain dumb.

Quality traffic tip #2: Participate in forums

This is actually very similar to leaving comments. Just about every niche under the sun has a forum dedicated to it. The people who populate those forums tend to be amongst the most vocal and passionate members of their community. Engaging with them, on their terms, by contributing something of value is a great way to find influencers and thought leaders.

Be cautious here though. Do not just show up and say “Hey, check out my blog”. First, establish your credibility by participating in a number of discussions. Then, when it’s relevant to do so, mention your site.

Again, this can seem like a painstaking way to build traffic. It does take time and effort. But the results can be astounding if targeted traffic is what you need.

Quality traffic tip #3: Email other bloggers

When you’ve written something great, write to other bloggers in your niche and tell them about it. Do it politely, without expectations, and you may be pleasantly surprised to find that you pick up a bunch of new readers. The key here is “without expectations”. Don’t email the same person frequently, and don’t be obnoxious. Save this for when you’ve got something special. When you do, simply summarize your post, and write something like “I’ve just posted about blah, and thought you might be interested.”

Online advertising need not cost very much, yet it can be extremely effective. Find sites that are in or are related to your industry but that do not directly compete with you.
