Shareapic allows users to upload and host pictures for free. But unlike many other photo sharing sites, Shareapic can make you earn some money. You can upload unlimited photos to share with others, share galleries in forums, on eBay, MySpace, or other social sites. Each time you show your gallery to others, you get paid. As it is a revenue sharing program, earnings vary each month based off the amount of income Shareapic generates from advertising. A percentage of that amount is distributed throughout members depending on how many image views they have accrued. Shareapic will pay you every 7 business days as long as your account balance is over $20.00. Shareapic also allows you to add your Google Adsense code to your image and gallery pages. Google Adsense pays once a month and you can even get them to deposit your earnings straight into your bank account.
In their own words
“Shareapic is a free service that allows its users to upload and host images on our servers. What makes us different from the rest? Shareapic has a unique revenue sharing model that compensates users for directing their friends and family to see their hosted images. When a member hosts a gallery, they can then show this gallery to others. Each time this is done, the member is paid.”
Why it might be a killer
Shareapic is definitely and interesting concept, it pays you while you share photos with friends and family. Besides, it allows users from any country. Advertisers can reach an active audience of pic sharers, celeb lovers and go-getters.
Will they add other payment methods? Currently all payments are sent via PayPal. Why do they pro-rate some payments depending on what country you’re from? How they will be able to compete with so many other photo sharing sites?
